Wicklow residence

The project

A three-bedroom primary residence on a rural site outside Greystones. The brief required full planning permission and a structure that would read as a permanent home, not a garden room.

The site

Planning was submitted under the Planning and Development Act 2000, Section 34. The site is outside any settlement boundary, which required a rural housing justification and a pre-application consultation with Wicklow County Council.

The outcome

Planning granted in 14 weeks. Installed in 18 weeks from deposit. The Residence is now the primary dwelling on the site.
